when i create an event and view this it shows the tickets available at the top of the page and then the event info below – is there any way to show the event info first and then the ticket please?

Hello,
You can re-order that information through the drag and drop selector which is in the template settings page for Event Espresso.
Go to WP dashboard (WP-admin) –> Event Espresso –> Templates. Then look for the custom display option and turn it on and immediately save changes. After the page refreshes, then you can drag and drop the order as needed.
Note that there is an option for the single event page as well as the events listings page.
