We are using EE to facilitate booking our LIVE training.
Each training has prerequisites that we accomplished using user profile roles. We prereq flags LVL1 , LVL2, LVL3, LVL4 using profile roles.
This is the flow, A new user registers on the site, There user profile is set to community. The user can enroll in a LEVEL1 course (EVENT ) using EE.
AFTER THE COURSE IS COMPLETED
We are looking to automate the change of user profile flag which is a user profile. We are trying to avoid doing this manually in the back end by each user lookup.
Objective, bring up the event, check-in users and have automation.
We like to somehow CHECK-IN all the registered users who have attended/completed the lIVE EVENT. BY CHECK IN .. they profile flag will be updated so that they can take the next course. Send out evaluation forms etc.
Currently, we don’t have an action fired when a checkin status is updated.
I can open a ticket to include one that will allow you to hook and run custom code when the check-in status changes.
However, just to clarify, adding this action into EE will not update anything on the user account or trigger forms etc in itself, you would need custom code to hook into that hook and run your customizations.
