I checked and your WordPress theme was not written to be compatible with jQuery in no-conflict mode. This is causing the breakage of several features of Event Espresso including the live search in the admin.
Here are a few options:
1) Use the theme test drive plugin to “switch” to the default WordPress theme for the admin account.
2) Contact the theme developer and ask them to fix the theme. Here is one example where they need to fix their theme in pb.js on line 102. It currently reads:
$(document).ready(function () {
$('.show-hide-container').live('click', function () {
$(this).parents('.pb-cont').find('.hideable-content').toggle('fast');
});
});
Which is throwing this error: Uncaught TypeError: Property ‘$’ of object [object Object] is not a function
To fix it, they can change the first line like so:
jQuery(document).ready(function ($) {
$('.show-hide-container').live('click', function () {
$(this).parents('.pb-cont').find('.hideable-content').toggle('fast');
});
});
This isn’t a matter of supporting a 3rd party plugins. It’s about making sure that a theme does follows WordPress coding standards, does not break core WordPress functions, and does not needlessly break other plugins.
A support token is limited to 30 minutes of priority support. While it may be possible to go through the theme and fix the broken code within that time, it may take more time depending on how much is broken and how much it’s spread out though the theme. We can’t guarantee that we can fix it within 30 minutes, it could take more time.
