Hi Guys,
I’m looking for a list of the primary registrants for my events. Is there any way to get this generated?

Hi there,

You can use a small function to force the Registration CSV Report to only export primary registrants, would that work for you?

Something like this:

Add that to a Custom Functions Plugin on your site and run the export.

Hi Tony,
I’ve added this to my installation as shown in the link provided. All filepermissions are correct, but the plugin is not shown in the editor and seems not to be activated. I’ve added the code through my OS, but the code isn’t picked up at all… (exporting to CSV gives me the complete list, just as it does without this piece of code).

I’ve then installed ‘My Custom Functions’ and added the code through that plugin (without the leading PHP tag). This does something: when I try to export I get an Internal Server Error…

Any further advice?

My code isn’t wrapped up as a plugin, so you need to create the custom functions plugin from the link (its basically just some additional text at the beginning) and add the function I posted to that plugin, if you don’t see that plugin then you haven’t followed the tutorial fully/correctly and something is missing.

I’ve added the code through my OS, but the code isn’t picked up at all… (exporting to CSV gives me the complete list, just as it does without this piece of code).

Added the code through your OS? Apologies but I’m not sure what that means.

Where are you adding the code?

I’ve then installed ‘My Custom Functions’ and added the code through that plugin (without the leading PHP tag). This does something: when I try to export I get an Internal Server Error…

If you check your servers error log you’ll find a more descriptive error, can you post that here please.

Or add this snippet to your sites wp-config.php file above where it says /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-checklist/#wpdebug

Then retest the export to get the error to be logged a debug.log file within /wp-content/
