Hi there, |
Hello, That does not sound like an option from Event Espresso. Where on your site are you seeing that link? — |

http://www.kingsmen.nl |
Hi, I was able to find the link which is from the WP User integration. Your events are member only so an account is required for registration. I’m in the United States and the link works for me: https://cl.ly/0P342O1e3O0i Do you have any security features on your WordPress site that limit traffic from certain countries? And when you say the page is empty, is it completed blank as in no content? If so, this may be something different such as an error. Are you familiar with a site error_log from your webhost or have you used a tool like WordPress debugging before (https://gist.github.com/lorenzocaum/848801a1173be464fbe7)? — |

i am able te reproduce the malfunction myself, but still only with a certain event somethings it does not even show the link |
Hi there, The first link doesn’t help narrow down the cause and the second appears to be broken can you check that please. I tried to register onto your event and the register for an account form worked – http://take.ms/vTabt (I’m based in the UK) Does the error happen AFTER that page? As in do we need to register onto the site to see the problem? Also can you answer Lorenzo’s question please:
Its important as it narrows down the error further. |
Hello, In the second screenshot, it shows that you are further in registration checkout so you were likely logged-in during that test. Lets take another look at my earlier feedback. If the page is white as in completely blank, then an error is appearing. You can enabled debugging for WordPress to get the cause of that error and then turn it off right after. Add the constant in the following link to your wp-config.php file: https://gist.github.com/lorenzocaum/848801a1173be464fbe7#file-gistfile1-php The wp-config.php file can be found in the WordPress root which is where the wp-admin, wp-content, and other files and folders for WordPress resides. Then please try to trigger the error and you may something on the screen. Could you copy and paste that here into a reply? If you do not see an error on your screen, then please browse to this location using your SFTP or FTP client (e.g. FileZilla, Cyberduck): /wp-content/debug.log You should see an error recorded within the file. Please copy and paste that here in a reply. Then go ahead and immediately deactivate WordPress debugging by removing the constant that was recently added (or setting it to false) and saving changes: https://gist.github.com/lorenzocaum/848801a1173be464fbe7#gistcomment-1239850 — |

Does the blank page happen when all other plugins besides Event Espresso and the WP User Integration add-on are deactivated? |
Hi Josh, does you remark concern my other topic?: |
Lorenzo, I tried debug on, but the malfunction would not repeat I add some notes that broaden the picture: |
No my remark is with regards to your above report where you wrote:
ok, as I wrote above:
Right, so does that happen (the dead link) when all other plugins besides Event Espresso and the WP User Integration add-on are deactivated? |
when I think out loud: Now, more or less the same thing happens (which I now if you go and change the language to dutch (Nederlands) |
I was actually wondering about the answer to my question about deactivating the other plugins. |
Yes, of course, I will get back to you! |
I can’t reproduce the problem with the register link, however the problem with the event cart link (and possibly the register link) is down to WPML. If you view the cart/checkout links when in French you’ll notice they link to: http://kingsmen.nl/registration-checkout-fr-2__trashed/ So you have a trashed french checkout page that WPML is changing the links to which is why they do not work. Event Espresso does not officially support WPML at this time, a better option at this time is to run EE within a subdomain/directory and list you French events there. |
We now have been able to reproduce. – every thing via .be domain does not work |
Did you check for the trashed page? |
in the redirect I unchecked: |
what is the trashed page? |
The trashed page that Tony referred to in his earlier reply. |
