Hi,
I’m looking into the possibility of using EE to organise a series of workshop events for a selected number of guests. Before purchasing though I just wanted to check whether a couple of requirements are possible with the software:
One of the main requirements is that guest are only able to register for a maximum of 5 different events and no guest can register for any single event twice.
Also, events have limited spaces – if a guest decides to cancel their spot at a given event, that place then needs to become avilable should someone else want to take it.
If you could let me know whether these requirements are possible that would be great as currently they are the deciding factor as to whether to purchase a license for EE.

Thank you for considering Event Espresso.

Currently we do not have any restrictions on the events. Users can register onto any events, any number of times.
Do you require users to have an account they log into on you site? I ask because it would be possible to do this with some custom coding if you require users to have an account on your site, although this would require help from a developer.
Also, events have limited spaces – if a guest decides to cancel their spot at a given event, that place then needs to become avilable should someone else want to take it.
Cancelling registration is currently only available via the Admin, so the user would need to contact the event admin you would change the status of the registration, this would then open that available ticket for another user to purchase.
