I’m working on a festival site.
The four-day festival has up to 24 workshops per day – up to 6 time-slots.
I’ll use a membership plugin to sell access to the ticketing pages — and four different membership levels.
A Four Day pass will allow the user to select 2 of 4 performances plus 4 workshops per day.
If all workshops have free tickets for this membership level, how do I limit them to four per day from the list of 24 offerings per day?
I want to have each workshop be an event, with associated instructor and venue, vs. having each timeslot be an event with different tickets for the different offerings.
It will be a LOT of options for the user to work through, and I need to know if there is programmatic way to limit them to chosing 4 workshops per day.
It turns out that currently Event Espresso 4 + Multi Event Registration does not have a have feature that automatically restricts a specific number of events per cart per order. However, there is one feature that you can use to make sure their selections do not go beyond any set limits. You set the Default registration status to “Not Approved”. Then, an admin can review the registration and approve the registration if it meets the criteria.
