license reset not working

Had my site in a staging environment for a week … it’s no longer there, but still getting the ‘license is active in multiple places’ message. Have reset it twice but still not working. What am I missing?

Hi there,

It looks like you are using version 5.0.0.p on the site, is that correct?

We identified an issue with v5.0.0-5.0.2 which can prevent updates and cause the notice to always display, we fixed this in version 5.0.3 but on this occasion you’ll need to update manually to fix it.

Go to your account page.

Download the latest version of EE5 from there and save the .zip to your machine.

Then on the site go to Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add new -> Upload plugin.

Select the .zip you just downloaded and upload.

WordPress should show you a notice saying the plugin already exists and ask if you want to replace it, click to do so.

You’ll now have version 5.0.3 installed.

Clicking to dismiss the notice should then work and update should work as expected moving forward.
