License renewed, Event Espresso not updating

Hello,

We renewed our license (EE3), but our version of Event Espresso has not updated. How often do pings occur? It’s been just about 24 hours.

Hi Jesse,
It looks like all it needed was a key reset. It’s been reset now, and what you can do is go to Event Espresso > General Settings, hit save, and you’ll see a notice to update on the WordPress > Plugins page after that.

Great. Will automatic updates resume after I do this?

Hi Jesse,

You should see a notice for one-click updates through your WordPress plugins screen. Then one will appear when there is an update available.

I’m sorry, but I’m not seeing what you’re describing. Here’s what I do see:

I should clarify that what I’m looking for is automatic updates.

Hi Jesse,

Currently your license key is not assigned to any domain.

Can you go to your account page copy the license key without the _FREE suffix.

On your site go to Event Espresso -> General Settings.

Fine the license key field and make sure it is empty. Then save the settings.

Now paste in your license key (check there is no whitespace before/after the key after pasting it in).

Now save the settings once again.

That should re-assigned your license key and enabled updates, if not please let us know.

OK, followed all the steps, and it looks like we’re good to go. I will keep an eye out to make sure automatic updates occur.
