Hi there,

I checked and there are pings coming from both

na[…]ub.co.uk
and
http://www.ro[…%5Des.co.uk

I do not recognise that first one, the second one is the live site, but I cannot identify the first one

How about narberthandwhitlandrotaryclub.co.uk? Do you recognize it?

Hi, that is just an alias of the primary site which is the second one you listed, go to it and you will see it redirects

I understand however there was a ping from that site. It also appears that Event Espresso is installed on a site with that domain. For example if you go to this URL you’ll see it loads a copy of a JavaScript file included with Event Espresso core:

http://narberthandwhitlandrotaryclub.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/templates/global_assets/scripts/espresso_core.js

Hi,

Please check now, I have setup a redirection which i would hope should prevent that. It is very odd as there are 3 domains all set up in the same manner and your system only picks up the one.

Are there any Event Espresso plugin files installed within the domain root of naberthandwhitlandrotaryclub.co.uk? If so you’ll need to remove them to avoid the license key warnings.

No! there is no such file structure or even folder for that domain, it is only parked and then the URL is redirected.

Your parked domain continues to send pings to ee.com. We can reset your license key right now, however if your parked domain continues to send pings to ee.com then you’ll need to remove the site license key and do manual updates from the WP > Plugins page instead.
