We’re having some issues with our key after renewing our support license with you. I believe the original license expired because our credit card information was out of date. We’re seeing messages in the WordPress Plug-in panel that say “The key you have entered is invalid or has expired.”
Also, it seems even while we’ve had a valid key, we’ve never really been able to enable automatic upgrades.
Just a clarification here. I noticed that our account says that we’ve renewed an EE3 license key, but we have EE4 installed. I’m confused. We’re also experiencing significant issues at this juncture. Not able to create events. Please help!
Is it possible for me to pay for an EE3 license when I have EE4 installed? Doesn’t seem to make any sense if we’re not even running a current install of EE3.
By the way, we’ve been on EE4 for several months now. Even though we had purchased an EE3 license previously, we’ve never actually deployed EE3 live on a web site. We’ve only ever used EE4. I’m sure we have had a valid EE4 license at some point in the last year.
I have emailed you with some details from your account regarding this, if you could reply to that email I your license key fixed.
I’ll ask a member of our sales team to investigate your account and see which license you should have and why/if it has been changed, however all EE3 licenses give you access to EE4 so there should not be a problem using your key with EE4.
