I have a license key issue. Although I am only running EE3 on one site, I have this error message: “Your support license key is only valid for one domain at a time, and our licensing system has detected that you are using your license key on multiple domains. Please log in to your Event Espresso account to manage your Support License Keys, or if you have concerns, please Contact Us.” Should I reset or request a new license key? |
Hi there, I have reset your license key. You’ll need to go to Event Espresso -> General Settings. Remove the license key (cut), save the settings, replace the key (paste) and save the settings once more. Be sure to check for whitespace before/after the key before saving. You will also receive an email with these instructions. That should remove the notice and re-assign your license key to your domain, please let us know if you have further problems. |

Unfortunately this did not clear the error. I see all of the backend calendar and class information, but the calendar of classes is not appearing on the website. Instead, it shows this code: [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR] |
That’s a different issue 🙂 If you go to Dashboard -> Plugins. Check there what version of Event Espresso are you using? Also what version of the Calendar and is it active?

I do not see Calendar (which I guess is the problem), but here are the versions for the others: |

Hi Patty, Please go to this link: https://eventespresso.com/users/tommarcantel/#ee3-downloads Then the second item in the list will be the Events Calendar add-on for Event Espresso 3. Click on it to download the latest version. Then login to your WP dashboard and go to Plugins –> Add New –> Upload. Browse to the zip file on your computer and select it and begin the upload. After it is done, go ahead and activate it. That should restore the calendar on your site. — |

Thanks. I’ve downloaded it, but can’t get it uploaded thru the WP dashboard. I see the zip file on my computer, but when I go to add it to upload, the file folder just opens. I would expect that if I click on that zip folder, it should upload from there. Am I missing a step? |
Save the zip file to your desktop for easy finding. Now on your Dashboard go to Plugins -> Add New -> Upload Plugin (button at the top) You’ll see this – http://take.ms/mEYiR Click the Choose file button. On the popup, navigate to your desktop and select the Calendar zip you just downloaded. Then click ‘Install now’ That will upload the plugin and ask you if you want to activate it. |

Plugin uploaded but the install failed. I got this error below. Do I need to contact the hosting company? Maybe the file was moved and just not showing up in my plugins? Unpacking the package… Installing the plugin… Destination folder already exists. /wp-content/plugins/espresso-calendar/ Plugin install failed.

Hmm, that means that the Calendars plugin directory is already there. Do you have FTP access to the site? Or something like cPanel? (as it has a file manager built in) |
