Hello, I have events espresso installed on my development site. I entered a licence key so I can have updates while developing. Now i can’t get updates cause it says, “You have the correct Site License Key for Event Espresso but your current membership access only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain” My product key is associated with my development domain name. Everything is correct. Why do I get this message? I contacted support via email form but no response back. I bought VIP support and still nothing. It’s been several months. Where can I find help then? Thank you, |
Hi Lex, Normally you can go to your account page and request a free key reset when this happens. I’ve already gone ahead and reset the key. Please note that the key can only be entered on one domain at a time. So when you are finished developing and will begin to use the key on the live site, you will need to remove the key from the dev site and request another key reset before placing the key on the live site. |

Thank you sooooooo much! |

Hello again, I’m having again this message – “You have the correct Site License Key for Espresso Calendar but your current membership access only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.” The domain of my site match with the one registered under my Event Espresso web account. I don’t have event espresso installed anywhere else. Just one domain. And of course I develop my site locally, so I have it on my localhost. I move my database back and forth. Thank you! |

Hi Lex, The licence key should only be on one site and local hosted sites do count as they can still ping out to our server. I have reset the licence key so I would advise you to remove it from your local host and to also remove it from your live site, save the options and add it back to the live site and re-save. |

Thanks, How do I get updates while developing my site? |

Hi Lex, We recommend updating manually. You can of course use the key on your dev site, and then swap it over to the production site when it goes live, but generally we recommend to just keep it on the live server. |
