I am wondering how difficult it may be to modify the list of courses in the event integration box for LearnDash Courses? Currently, this is a list of courses that appears to be in no apparent order, it is not listed alphabetically, it doesn’t appear to be in slug order nor in internal ID order.

First it would be great if this could at least be sorted either by title, or by slug.

In addition, course names can sometimes be very similar and in our case we have three that are very similar. I would like to add the LD Course slug to this drop-down text, so I can easily find correct course. We are using the slug as our “course number” so this is a very easy way to reference for us.

I am looking for assistance in modifying the LearnDash integration drop down list within event registration settings, either through a functions.php hook or even if I can customize the PHP file through our child theme but I have had no luck finding this code and being able to modify the displayed drop-down list. I have to inspect the list to find the ID then select it through inspect to ensure I have the right course linked.
