Hi there,

1. I get Invoice and acceptance of registration as pdf download. How and which file can i change layout styling show in the pic. This is adress format we would like to change as in red letters

This easiest method to altering the address format is to use the settings within the Invoice payment method.

Go to Event Espresso -> Payment Methods -> Invoice.

(If invoice is not activated temporarily activate it whilst you make this change)

Within the Invoice settings you find the ‘Payee Address’ section. Input the address exactly how you like the address to be and the invoice will use that setting.

To remove the additional spacing from the top right you’ll need to remove the SPAN elements used in that section. Navigate to:

Event Espresso -> Messages -> Invoice.

Using ‘Text’ mode search for ‘[PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_REGISTRATION_DATE]’, you’ll see something like this – http://take.ms/Fy3SA

Remove those tags and save the template, then refresh your invoice.

2. Why there is no PDF for ticket, as many users have no idea how to print from browser?

The tickets are generated within the browser itself, currently you can’t download them to PDF.

Thank you. It is not obvious how invoice layout is functioning, and there are different tasks to make corrections. For me there is a lot of inconsistence of usability, not only to build up the infrastructure, but also for users, if they find PDF download on one place, and different handling on another place.

Spacing elements are not present at my place: Messages/Invoice
In text mode I find this only: no <span>

<div id=”invoice-info”>
<h2 id=”invoice-hdr”>Rechnung</h2>
<h3>Datum: [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_REGISTRATION_DATE]</h3>
<h3>Registrierungscode: [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_REGISTRATION_CODE]</h3>
<h3>Transaktions-ID: [TXN_ID]</h3>
</div>

All of the invoice can be edited within the Messages system.

Event Espresso -> Messages -> Invoice.

However the method I provided above is the easiest to do what you have asked, it just depends what your trying to do.

For me there is a lot of inconsistence of usability, not only to build up the infrastructure, but also for users, if they find PDF download on one place, and different handling on another place.

Thank you for the feedback, I have added a note about this for discussion, however also note that the Invoice PDF and a ticket are 2 completely different elements.

In text mode I find this only: no

Did the template initially load in Visual mode?

Try saving now and view the template, have the spans been removed?

O.k. now after opening again in text mode there are span tags, removing worked now. Thank you
