Hi,
I have installed the most recent version of EE4. (4.9.11).
When I try to register for an event, I keep getting the error “This registration step could not be completed. Please refresh the page and try again.”.
I have read many articles about this problem, but no solution yet.
I have set the memory limit to 128M and enabled WP-DEBUG but I cannot find any problems.
The problem did not occur earlier, but I can’t reproduce when the problems started. When I press F5 I can enter the next step, but off course this is not great for customers.

Note: My site is in dutch so the error message is: “Deze aanmelding stap kon niet worden voltooid. Vernieuw de pagina en probeer opnieuw.”

Hi there,
There are two things that may help here. First, do you have any custom code that’s altering the registration steps? The reason I ask is because there’s some commented out registration html at the very top of the pages of your website that appears when I view source:

The other thing you can try is see what happens if the Contact Form 7 plugin is temporarily deactivated.
