I just purchased EE3 how do I download the plugin and do I have to download each add on separately?

Hi Shannon,
You can download Event Espresso (and Add-on’s) from your account page
When logged in you will always find your account page in the top navigation bar above – http://take.ms/q5Wuv
The blue icons are Event Espresso 4 and relevant Add-on’s the green icons are Event Espresso 3 and relevant Add-on’s. You need to download and install EE and each Add-on you would like to use separately yes.

The Add-on’s are install in exactly the same way.
