Go to your account page (https://eventespresso.com/users/mbc101/), you’ll see all the files to download, links to documentation and your license key to activate automatic downloads (place the key on the General Settings page of Event Espresso).
No, the folders have different names, but you do need to de-activate it first. It is also advisable to delete it once you have the Premium version up and running. They use the same database structure so and existing events will port over, but you may want to double check your settings (you will have a few more!).

I’ve been able to zip all my Epresso add-on files to my WordPress Dashboard. Except for one. “The Custom-Files 3.1 zip folder.” I’m completely lost right now and I don’t what to do next to get it to port over.
The Custom Files add-on is not a plugin to be installed through the dashboard. See the documentation here: Custom Files Documentation
