I’m not using the Event Espresso social sharing extension, which I understand only shows up on the thank you page.
Instead, I’m just using Jetpack Sharing. It’s showing up OK on all our pages (including page that hosts the shortcode to display the EE Calendar Table).
The sharing buttons also display fine on all our posts except for our EE events, for example, http://www.heifetzinstitute.org/ee-events/mary-baldwin-college-sunday-recital-series-erin-murphy-lise-keiter/.
Is there some special way to make the Jetpack social sharing buttons also display on EE event posts? Thanks!

Is Events enabled for JetPack in the Sharing settings page?

Yes, I double checked it, and Events is enabled in Jetpack Sharing. I even tried activating all other choices of content through Jetpack, but it didn’t make any difference here.

Thanks for this! I added the code to functions.php and it did successfully fix the original problem. It did add Jetpack Sharing buttons to each EE Event page.
But unfortunately, it created another new problem. It also added the buttons to the bottom of the Latest Blog Posts in the footer of the site. This only happens on the EE Event pages. But it still looks bad, so I undid the change.
Is there any way to get the buttons on the Event page but not also added to the site footer of those pages?
