So I have an issue with EE4. When its activated, I’m getting error from Facebook Debug that “Meta Tags In Body”.

https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object?q=http%3A%2F%2F303magazine.com%2F2014%2F02%2Fdj-ktones-seventh-annual-greatest-show-turf-touch-denver-march-4%2F

When EE is disabled – its not giving me that message. Any advise?

Hello, I’ve looked at your page source and I see that there is some divs for EE at the top of your page. That information should be lower on the page. Its possible that your upgrade did not run correctly.

Could you backup your WordPress and deactivate and remove Event Espresso, then reinstall the latest version from your account?

Hi,

Is it possible you could send us a copy of your theme to test with please?

You can send it to support@eventespresso.com, but please make sure to link to this forum thread in the email.

Hi,

Thanks for that. I am not seeing any conflicts or issues with the theme and EE4 (latest) on my test sites. The issue Lorenzo noticed (which is likely the cause of the problems) is not there, the code is showing in the correct place.

As such I would say it is a plugin conflict of some sort, so you will need to troubleshoot your plugins, by deactivating them and seeing if the code is still at the top.

If it isn’t then you can activate them one by one, viewing the page source each time (you will need to refresh the page) until the broken code comes back. Then you will have a clearer indication of what is causing the issue.

Looks like there is a conflict with this:

And one more thing – why those buttons would be missing? http://cl.ly/image/3V0d3X0l1B3h

I have check a path to the picture – its refering to /espresso/ plugin folder, but by default the plugin folder called differently.

Hi there,

I tried installing the wpgform plugin and the registration goes through as expected. There may be something in addition to the plugin that’s causing the issue. If you can outline the steps to reproduce I’ll be sure to continue to look into this.

With the payment button issue. I checked and you have a “-1” at the end of the Event Espresso plugin folder name. So your payment button URL is now:

Well, I just figured that when wpgfrom plugin is on – that part of the code goes in the wrong spot. When its off – its back to normal. Maybe its combined with other plugins.

With the payment button – your answer was not helpful at all, since it didnt give me any way how to get the buttons back. Ended figuring it on my own. The installation folder for the plugin HAVE to be called “event-espresso”, otherwise some images will be missing (including payment buttons).
