Double check the ticketing add-on is active in the plugins list. If no, activate it an retest.
If it is active, go to:
Event Espresso -> Messages -> Settings.
Look the email section for the ‘ticket notice’ message type, if its in the active section, move it over to the in-active section, wait a few seconds, then move it back.
Then under the PDF section look for the ‘ticket’ messenger, again move that to be in-active and then back again.
It worked, though I would like point out (for anyone with similar problem) that you also have to select sub-menu (email, html, pdf) and drag in-active item into meta box “email settings” or “html settings” rather than “active”.
