Issues with Event Espresso since WordPress Upgrade

We have recently upgraded WordPress to 4.0 and since then have been experiencing issues with EE3. Everything appears okay in the backend however, this is not showing as it should be on the frontend.

The major issue is:
– templates settings not working – even though a style is selected and saved, it is reverting to an old style used last year.

Can anyone assist in resolving this?

Also, what changes are you making that do not appear on the site?
