EE 3.1.36.6.P WP 4.1.1 Whenever we have clients booking additional attendees, they are not offered the price options but defaults to whatever the first attendee price is. We have families booking for events, when prices are different for adult & child, and at the moment they are having to enter twice, once for adults and once for children. Have I missed something here? Thanks Event Espresso v3.1.37.1.P |
Hi Angus, In order to select different ticket types within EE3 you need to use Multiple Event Registration and add the event to the cart, the user can then select different quantities of different tickets and complete the registration. It sounds like you are using standard registration, can you link us to one of your events so we can investigate please? |

OK, I have MER installed, which I did some time ago, but didn’t use the shortcodes – there was obviously a reason at the time, I just can’t remember what it was. I suspect trying to work out which was the best shortcode to use. The main reason to use MER is for people to register for a single event – triathlon, run, bike race etc but as a family. We don’t do group discounts (some the volume discount doesn’t help), we don’t want a promo code out there that means we have to check every entry to make sure there is no abuse. At the moment we offer a multiple option and calculate a mean per head price for a family, which is slightly clumsy. If you could point us in the right direction for the most elegant solution …. Site is http://supersportsevents.me – look at set up for the triathlon, aquathlon or the run that are on the calendar – not the tennis events. Thank you |
Hi Angus, I think you are wanting to the shopping cart feature which presents all pricing options for an event in a table format. An attendee/registrant can then select the pricing / ticket options that they would like and then complete registration checkout. Here is a tutorial on setting that up: Thanks — |

Thanks Lorenzo, and even better with an image too. Now, if there is something already in the cart, or someone has looked at the cart, this changes to default text “View Cart” can this be changed to an image too? Thank you |

Hi, You can do it with CSS:
Obviously change the URL to point to an image of your choice. You may need to add height and width as well depending on the image size. That CSS can be added to your themes style.css, though in order to preserve the CSS through theme updates we recommend adding it to either: a child themes style.css, your themes CSS options if it has any, or a plugin such as My Custom CSS. |

Works a treat Dean, thanks heaps. I just need to find, and then copy, other CSS amendments in My Custom CSS so I can upgrade Calendar & EE! Cheers |
