Hello,
I am having the exact same problem that khalid had on 2/16/15. I just purchased, installed, and activated EE4. I cannot view it in my dashboard and I get the error message when I attempt to add a payment method and create an event. I have already deactivated and reactivated the plug in. PLEASE HELP!

Hello Again,
As an update, I deactivated gravity forms which had been installed after espresso. I also deactivated and deleted espresso before re-installing the espresso plugin. I am still getting the same error message.

Also, please be advised that I am TRYING to us espresso with learndash and gravity forms. PLEASE HELP!

Hi there,

Are you logged into the site as an Administrator?

Do you have any of the EE add-ons installed currently or just Event Espresso?

I cannot view it in my dashboard

Can’t view which in the Dashboard? The Event Espresso menu?

and I get the error message when I attempt to add a payment method and create an event

When you say adding a payment method do you mean activating one of the default payment methods listed in Event Espresso -> Payment methods?

If you go to: {yourdomain}/wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_maintenance_settings&action=data_reset

You should see something like this – http://take.ms/moy16

Click the ‘Reset Event Espresso Capabilities’ button and see if that fixes the error for you.
