Class was $35. Coupon code was for $25. The total should be $10 as you see. She was charged $35.

Hi Dorian,

So far I’ve been unable to reproduce this, I tested using Auth.net AIM with it set to open by default and also not to.

Each time adding the promotion code correct adjusted the charged price.

Can you link me to the event this happened on so I can take a look?

It adjusts the price, but when checking out, it charges the original amount.

Yeah, I understand.

Problem is on all of my test sites I can’t reproduce.

They all charge the correct value, like so – https://monosnap.com/file/4gJaU36JbKGwvGfo2Rfw5DxrjwDlsR

Any caching enabled on the site?

Can I take a quick look over the payment logs on the site? If so you can send temp login details using this form:

Hi Dorian,

Are you using a plugin to hide the wp-admin/login?

I can’t find a log in page on your site?

Thank you.

So the only way I can reproduce the same issue is to add the promotion code to the field, but not submit it, then submit the payment via Auth.net and quickly submit the promotion whilst the request is going through.

The page does scroll up to the top of the chekcout page when you submit a payment, which just so happens to also show the promotion input field.

So that would be my guess as to how this happened.

The user arrived at checkout, input their details and then on the payment options input their promotion code but didn’t submit. Further down the page they submit their payment details and the page scrolled up, they then also clicked to submit the promotion.

That means the payment was initialised using the current line items and then the ajax request for the promotion code updated those line items meaning the transaction shows the promotion, but the payment does not.

I passed along the info to her. Thanks for checking.
