We are having a problem with the replacement link in the email templates: [payment_url].
It appears that a “:” is missing in the url link. See the screenshots: you can see the encoded link and the result when you click on the link.
Can you tell us if this is a known problem and where we can fix it?
Just to let you know, we have migrated since version 3 and our version of WordPress is 4.9.6 and that of Event Espresso is Version 4.9.66.p I tried to update and see if that fixed the problem but this problem persists even in version 4.9.75.p
We would agree to make minor change in the core to fix it ourselves because that it is urgent to have it working.
This is not a known problem. That said, it’s likely fixable by going to Event Espresso > General Settings > Critical Page Settings, then saving that page.
The issue isn’t actually a missing : in the URL, but instead some extra
characters input before the domain, http//.
The other possibility is something, like another plugin, is going through and adding the extra characters to links. Do you see other links in the email doing the same thing?
It was in the template! Eliminating the “http:” which was not necessary in the model, everything is back in order. Have a good holiday season.
Thank you so much !
