Recently we have purchased EE4 Stripe Payment Gateway v1.0.14.p to implement Stripe. For the event, we are using Event Espresso Version 4.9.28.p. And currently we are working on staging.

After installing Stripe Payment Gateway the add-on, at the time of activation we have got some error message. But on click of the browser’s Back button, we found that the add-on is activated.

Now, whenever we click on the Payment Methods submenu item of Event Espresso, we are getting some errors again as below.

Warning: require(/nas/content/staging/texasdwilawyer/wp-content/plugins/eea-stripe-gateway/includes/stripe_dependencies/lib/Stripe/Util/Set.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /nas/content/staging/texasdwilawyer/wp-content/plugins/eea-stripe-gateway/includes/stripe_dependencies/lib/Stripe.php on line 23

Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ‘/nas/content/staging/texasdwilawyer/wp-content/plugins/eea-stripe-gateway/includes/stripe_dependencies/lib/Stripe/Util/Set.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/php’) in /nas/content/staging/texasdwilawyer/wp-content/plugins/eea-stripe-gateway/includes/stripe_dependencies/lib/Stripe.php on line 23

Please give some solution.

Hi there,

It sounds like there are either files missing from the Stripe add-on on your install or the server is preventing the add-on from opening the files.

How did you install the Stripe add-on?

After installing Stripe Payment Gateway the add-on, at the time of activation we have got some error message.

Did you save the error? Without knowing what error was thrown we don’t know what happened but if you have access to the servers error logs you may find the error there.

The first step I would take would be to de-activate and delete the Stripe payment method add-on.

Then re-download the zip file from your account page and upload the add-on through:

Dashboard -> Plauings -> Add new -> Upload plugin.

Then re-active the add-on, is there is an error thrown save it and post it here.
