I was looking for a phone number so I could call and get a better understanding on your product, but I couldn’t find one… so hopefully this will help.

I am working for an indoor sports facility. We currently have 2 locations with 2 different websites. Both of the websites use WordPress.

We are looking for a company who does online registration. We need to be able to edit the online form ourself and also export all the information.

We have a lot of different leagues and age groups so keeping those separate is really important.

Is there a number I can call to talk to someone about your online forms?

Hi Tara,

Just to explain, Event Espresso allows you to host your own events within your own website, all of the information is stored on your own server and not ours. This means you control all of the data and all of your own events.

We need to be able to edit the online form ourself and also export all the information.

You can assigned custom questions/question groups to your events so editing the registration form is not a problem. When you say export all of the information, do you mean the registration form questions? Could you explain a little further please?

We have a lot of different leagues and age groups so keeping those separate is really important.

How are you looking to setup the registrations? Each event can list the registrations/attendees specific to that event but this will depend on how you are intending to use Event Espresso.

Thank you for the response!

When I say export the information, I mean export it into an Excel File. Is this something we could do?

As far as registration, we would need separate registration for our North and South locations. I think the questions would be exactly the same for both locations, but we would need to list the different division on the form.

What happens once they fill out the registration form? Where does that information go? I know you said it is on our server, but does it create a database? Can we add the players to a team and send them their schedule?

Hi Tara,

Event Espresso is a plugin for WordPress. Therefore, any information in Event Espresso will be stored in your WordPress database.

None of your information is stored on our servers.

In Event Espresso 4, you can export the registrations as a CSV file. This file can then be opened using Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, Apple Numbers, etc.

When a registration occurs, the information is sent to the database and is spread out across multiple esp_ tables. Again, it goes to your WordPress database and not ours.

A player (attendee/registrant) can register themselves through the events registration page on your site or you can manually register them through your WordPress admin (WP dashboard).

How would I add Event Espresso to our Word Press site?

The regular versions of Event Espresso are available with a support license purchase:

https://eventespresso.com/pricing/

We also have free versions that are available from the WordPress plugins directory.
