Hi, i am in the process of building a new website for a my local concert hall and i was wondering if the Event Expresso software can cater for my requirements:

REQUIREMENTS
01 – allow the admin to add events (concerts) to specific dates
02 – set pricing to a seating plan (different prices for different areas on the seating plan)
03 – allow my customers to select a concert on a specific date and then choose a seat(s)
04 – allow my customers to pay for the ticket online (what payment gateways do you support)
05 – the ticket is then emailed to my customer so they can print it out
06 – the admin / bouncer can print a list of all of the attendees for the night so that they can validate the tickets against it (i see you have an app but not sure how it works)
07 – a system to handle customers who bought a ticked but forgot their ticket on the night of the concert
08 – ability for the admin to process bookings on the night at the reception desk as some of my customers won’t be able to use the internet and will want to book tickets that night

Do you have any other useful features that i could use? Thanks in advance.

Thank you for contacting us. We appreciate your interest in Event Espresso.

Please see my answers below.
01 – add events (concerts) to specific dates
Yes. This is part of the core functionality of Event Espresso.

02 – set pricing to a seating plan (different prices for different areas on the seating plan)
While we have a seating chart add-on, it isn’t currently possible to have different prices for each seat.
In Event Espresso core, there is a feature to add different ticket prices, but this does not translate to the seating.

03 – allow my customers to select a concert on a specific date and then choose a seat(s)
Yes. This requires the Seating Chart add-on. The Seating Chart is included in the Developer License, or can be purchased separately.

04 – allow my customers to pay for the ticket online (what payment gateways do you support)
Yes. See here for the list of supported gateways: https://eventespresso.com/features/payment-options/

05 – the ticket is then emailed to my customer so they can print it out
Yes. This requires the Ticketing add-on that is included in the Business License and up.

06 – the admin / bouncer can print a list of all of the attendees for the night so that they can validate the tickets against it (i see you have an app but not sure how it works)
Yes. This is possible. We have reporting functionality within Event Espresso.

07 – a system to handle customers who bought a ticked but forgot their ticket on the night of the concert
Yes. You will be able to print the customer’s ticket from the Event Espresso dashboard.

08 – ability for the admin to process bookings on the night at the reception desk as some of my customers won’t be able to use the internet and will want to book tickets that night
Yes. You can process registrations through the Event Espresso dashboard.
