We have a particular use case on our hands, where we have events with their start and end dates, but at the same time, we need those events to remain active on the event list for some time after the expiration date. That is because we, essentially, add a video to the event after the event ends, and we want to still feature such an event in the listing.

Is there a way to keep the events active past the end date?

Hi there,

Which specific event list are you referring to please?

There is an option to display ‘expired events’ on the event lists within Event Espresso -> Events -> Templates -> Event List Pages.

Set ‘Display Expired Events’ to yes and save.

Expired events will continue to display on /events/ and within the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode but if you are using a different output your may need something else.

Can you link me to the event list you want to continue to display the events on?
