I’m setting up payment for a summer camp for kids. Some parents want to pay half during registration and half at a later date (we’re setting it at May 1st). I thought the Flexible Payment add-on might allow this, but it doesn’t look to be the case.
Is there some fairly easy way to set this up?

Hi there,
Officially Event Espresso does not support partial payments yet. It is possible to do but requires some admin work.
You can either create a ticket that has the price set for the first half of the registration, have them pay the ‘full’ (full price in terms of the ticket itself) amount during their initial registration and then move the registration(s) to a full price ticket and have them pay the remaining balance (This requires the EE4 Attendee mover add-on).
Or, have them register onto the full price ticket and take the first payment outside of Event Espresso and apply it manually within the admin, the remaining balance can then be paid through EE itself. So an example would be to register onto $100 ticket and pay $50 through bank transfer, you then manually apply that payment into the EE transaction within the admin an then send them a payment reminder to pay the rest through one of EE’s payment methods (This does not require any additional add-ons).
I can add some more details on this if either of those will work for you?
