I want to do following things in my site. |
Hi Melanie,
This would require some custom development, depends on which emails, and when you currently have the emails set to send. For example if you go to Event Espresso -> General Settings. Email Settings. You’ll find the option – ‘Send registration confirmation emails before payment is received?’ if that is set to Yes, the Confirmation email is sent before the before the user selects a payment type. If it is set to No the email is only sent after full payment is received, if using an online gateway this is automatic, if using and offline gateway, this would be done manually when apply the payment.
If you set the Event to a ‘waitlist’ event – http://take.ms/wVP8S Then update the event it will be removed from view from the front end of the website, the user would need the URL to access the event. Does that help?
Currently the Paypal gateway will send cancellations to the ‘registration-cancelled’ page if the user cancels so this is actually expected behaviour. It is likely possible to modify the Paypal gateway cancel_return field to direct the user back to the thank you page (which contains options to pay) although this may cause complications when closing the sessions within EE as it is currently not expected behaviour. |

=> Can you tell me there is any hook or filter to customize email confirmation mail. so we can customize it based on that to send email based on payment type. |

Hi, Here are the hook and filter lists for EE3: Hooks https://eventespresso.com/wiki/event-espresso-3-1-action-hooks/ I haven’t tested it, but I’m assuming this hook might be what you’re after https://eventespresso.com/wiki/event-espresso-3-1-action-hooks/#action_hook_espresso_email_after_payment |
