We are currently running events that have a number of tickets that an attendee can select. We would also like the attendee to be able purchase more than one ticket and we would like the ability for someone to be able to purchase tickets for more than one Attendee. We have tried two different options: Option 1: 6 different ticket types on the registration form. An attendee can select all Option 2 Tickets set up as sub-events. Our questions is: |

Hi Delia, We received your request for priority support, and I’m reviewing your questions. Can you explain what you mean by “sub-tickets”? The reason I ask is because Event Espresso does not have a type of ticket called a “sub-ticket” so I want to be sure we’re on the same page so we can move forward with this. |

Apologies – I meant sub-event (as shown in this clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nP0w5ObQhmY) |

OK, it is possible for Attendees to purchase multiple tickets for sub-events (or as labeled in the Event Espresso UI, datetimes). However I don’t think that’s the question you’re really asking. It sounds more like you’re asking the following:
As it stands now the answer is no, because currently Event Espresso has no way of setting logic rules based on the intent of the ticket buyer. For example, perhaps someone is buying two different tickets and they will be for two different individuals. The solution to this issue that Event Espresso currently offers is the box that appears at the bottom of the first form, where it says “Use Attendee #1’s information for ALL attendees”. When they check that box, the forms that follow will autofill with the information from the first form. Hope that helps! |

It does thanks. One of our events is live and was set up as Tickets – is it possible to change these to sub-events if tickets have already been sold? |
|
It’s not really changing a ticket into a sub-event, it’s actually adding datetimes (or sub-events as the Youtube video calls them) and then assigning specific datetimes to specific tickets. So yes, that’s possible. Any existing tickets sold will automatically be connected to the corresponding datetimes. |
