Is it possible to go back to EE3 after upgrading to EE4 2 days ago

Hi

I stupidly assumed EE4 would be EE3 updated but find there is no recurring events plugin and no mobile scanner . I need to go back to EE3 do I need to drop tables etc and start from scratch?

No, it turns out that you can simply deactivate EE4 and re-install EE3. All of your events and attendee data will still be there because EE4 doesn’t overwrite any of EE3’s tables. After going back to EE3 the one thing you’ll need to re-do is your Event Espresso page settings and shortcodes, which are outlined here:
