Our events are being sold out before anyone can actually register due to reserved tickets and there seems to be no way to set a time limit of how long reserved tickets can be held for. I have been manually resetting the reserved tickets but events are shown as sold out for several days when no one is in the office to reset the tickets. Is there a way to disable the reserved ticketing altogether? Or at least set a time limit of an hour before they are reset?
Normally the reserved tickets do reset after 1 hour maximum. If that’s not happening on your site then something isn’t working correctly. May I ask do you know if wp_cron has been deactivated on the website? The solution to this may be as simple as reactivating wp_cron. One way to find out if wp_cron is deactivated is you install the wp-crontrol plugin.
If you install the wp-crontrol plugin and then go to Tools > Cron Events does it report any errors?
