Hi,

Thank you (or Tony) for the last couple of code snippets. I applied them to the test system last night and they worked a treat.

At the top of the registrations screen:
https://www.pastefile.com/v85br6

in the line where it says View All Registrations, is it possible to add some custom options, eg Tomorrow, Next 7 days, Next 30 days ?

Anita

Hi Anita!

Thanks for contacting us.

When a Registration is placed, even when the event will start on a future date, the registered date is the current date. So I did not get the use case you want to view future registrations. Could you provide more details about it, please?

Thanks!

Hi Joao,

I see now. In explaining to you I have explained it to myself. Please read on, though.

So, the registered date is actually the date of the transaction, so what I have asked for – and suggested to ESSA – won’t work because of my misunderstanding.

What ESSA, a watersports activity centre, have requested is a report that can be run and printed in the morning of a given day that would list the events on that day, along with the attendee names, date of birth, emergency contact details etc. These are custom questions within our implementation of EventEspresso.

This report would help the day staff to know who to expect on-site, and give them easy access to emergency details if required.

I started to write a custom report but am aware both that this could be inflexible and would tie ESSA in to the way EventEspresso is now, and to me, so instead I wrongly suggested ESSA use the Registrations screen, along with the Filters and the Filtered CSV Report to give their staff access to the answers to custom questions for an event.

They are able to get Attendees via the EventEspresso app but this does not give them the answers to the custom questions.

The use case about future event attendees would come in to play when they are planning the staff that need to be on site for events coming up, eg in the next month.

Can you suggest a way forward that would allow them to produce the report they require, without too much custom work?

If not I can revisit the custom report (I am a database developer by trade).

Best wishes,

Anita

Hi there!

Thanks for contacting us.
Currently, our development team is working to fix our “Export CSV report” feature which allows you to filter today’s registrations in your event and check the details sent through the Registration form. Here’s a sample event registration: https://share.cleanshot.com/eaq7Mc – we just need to wait for our development team to fix it and then apply a custom snippet to remove the unused lines on the CSV Report.

Is that makes sense?

Hi Joao,

Sorry I’m not sure what you mean. Can you explain in baby steps please?

Thanks,

Anita
