We sell tours. For that we need to be able to take bookings on dates that are relevant for our customers. Is that even possible for our customer to choose the dates themselfs?
We have 20 departures on the same tour in a month. What would you suggest to do here?
Event Espresso works around ‘datetimes’ which are set up on a specific date and time, users then select tickets that ‘grant access’ to either a single or multiple datetimes.
So you can’t set up Event Espresso to allow users to select a ticket first and then input the date for what they want it to apply to, as the ticket requires a DateTime is assigned to it to create the ticket in the first place.
Then, Datetimes need to be set up to allow for registrations onto the event.
Hmmm, we don’t have an official method of supporting a use case like this within EE currently. Would it work if you have a datetime question on the registration form for the user to select a date after selecting their ticket that way?
The downside to that is you can’t then control numbers on specific dates if using that setup.
