Yes EE4 is compatible with PHP 7 however, it is not compatible with bytecode caching (such as Opache or APC) so if those are enabled by your host they will need to be disabled.
Thank you for this. In case it’s useful for anyone else to know, WP Engine has told me they don’t use either of those caching systems. They don’t use bytecode caching and are using object and Varnish cache.
Thank you for posting your findings, with the above caching systems have you set the EE4 critical pages (and pages using the ticket selector) to be excluded from caching?
