This is a new site wordpress 3.8.1, EE Version 3.1.36.4.P I have read and read the posts on IPN issues with no success. I have confirmed that our site does not use SS and has no firewall. I have made sure that the timezones are set right on paypal I have tried several return URL’s. The WordPress Permalink for may transactions page is: http://godkidscamp.org/?page_id=254. Documentation says the correct URL should be http://godkidscamp.org/transactions. Paypal receive IPN messages is enabled |
Event Espresso will post a custom notifications URL to the custom PayPal button on the Event Espresso payment page. I checked and can verify that http://godkidscamp.org/?page_id=254 is the correct page for your site. It’s likely that if you open up the IPN log file in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/logs you’ll find an IPN error that can point to the cause of the issue. |

Log seems to indicate that the IPN Post is coming through but the there seems to be a validation issue? Do you think the stripped down payment process will help? |
The stripped down transactions page template helps in cases where there is a timeout. If it’s showing an error that says something like “verify that |

Verifying I uploaded the txnpage.php to And I changed the transactions page short code from [ESPRESSO_TXN_PAGE] to txn_page] My test was a failure again so just wanted to be sure I did this right. |
No that’s not correct, please don’t change the shortcode on the transactions page. The txnpage.php file gets uploaded to your active theme’s directory (wp-content/themes/your-active-theme-name) Then you go in to edit the transactions page, change the shortcode back to what it was before, and select the txnpage template from the Page attributes box. |
