Is been a long very long time since I am trying to fix this issue with the app, and we have not used it since september 2012, I really need to get this fix, because the busy season is about to begin. I update the Event Espresso plugin manually and still not working. I am also not able to do automatic updates on my dashboard.

Hi Roberto,

Your license key does no appear to be active on a domain, therefor you will not be able to use the automatic updates.

If you go to you account page (Click on ‘Account’ on the top right) you’ll find your license key. Copy and paste that into your site at Event Espresso -> General Settings. ‘Site License Key’ then save the settings.

You can then use the auto updates.

In regards to the app, what versions of the EE and the JSON API are you currently running?

Okay the license Key is active now, but i cannot make any updates to any of the plugins. I am running ticketing application Version: 2.2 and about the JSON API I think i never install any of that. I can give you access to the site so you can take a look if necessary.

Thanks.

Hi Roberto,

Okay the license Key is active now, but i cannot make any updates to any of the plugins.

It looks like you have installed the latest versions now so there wont be any updates. Is that not the case?

about the JSON API I think i never install any of that

The iOS app uses the JSON API (link) to communicate with Event Espresso, you will need to install it in order for the app to work. Install the JSON API, enabled public access in the API settings and you should be able to login through the app.

Also check you are using the latest version of the app 🙂

Okay for the Event Espresso Plugin is fine because I made the update via ftp, but the rest of the plugins won’t update, it says there is an error with the license key. Then I installed the JSON API and the app stills doing the same thing and not working at all. Please I need to solve this issue asap. Here is two images, one for the app and another for the plugins.

Hi,

How are you today?

I’ve reset your license key. Please remove your license key from the General Settings page of Event Espresso and save the form blank without a license key. Then re-enter your license key again which should enable the new domain and/or one-click upgrades.

After you’ve gone through the instructions above on the key reset, let me know if the update messages persist.
