Hello Team – The “Payment Received” Message does not seem to be sending. I check the Message Queue and nothing is there. We show transactions completed, and during testing we get the Thank You page with the Download Invoice. Issue is if they close that window we cannot get them a receipt / invoice as the system is not emailing that template. We confirmed it is enabled, and if we edit the template and test send we get the Luke Skywalker version to the inbox.
NOTE: we are using a 100% discount so if the payment is 0.00 will the email not fire?
The Payment Received email will not fire when there’s a 100% discount code used instead of payment. What you could do instead is use the “Registration Approved” message type to send the links to the Invoice and Receipt.
The documentation is contextual so it’s built in to the admin pages. You click on the Help tab (upper right corner of the page) within the message template editor, then click on Message Shortcodes. This will open a panel that will show a list of all available shortcodes for that message type.
In this case one shortcode you could use is [INVOICE_LINK].
