Hi in Germany we need to have sequential invoice numbers. I cannot set this up in EE4. Will this be a feature or do I need to find someone to develope that?

Sequential invoice numbering with no gaps in the sequence may eventually be an add-on feature but if you need this now, I can recommend contacting one of the developers listed here:

You can use the [TXN_ID] shortcode to display a sequential number on the invoice, but as you may have found the numbers iterate with every transaction recorded in Event Espresso. So for example cancelled registrations get a transaction ID number too.
