I need to change the invoice number of generated invoices.
What I also need to know is wether the invoice number is a sequential number. I think it is but I need to know for sure.
Can you tell me if and how?
I’m using EE3 version 3.1.36.6.P.

What would you like to change the format to?
The invoice number is basically the attendee_id, the attendee_id is sequential however all attendee’s are given a unique id so if your first attendee pays by invoice, then another registers and pays via PayPal, the 3rd attendee will generate invoice number 3.

When you say that, all attendee’s are given a unique id, does this mean that if a requiring attendee books for another event the same ID is used?

Hi,
No, the registration ID is always unique, so if Bob books 3 different events, he will be logged 3 time,s with three registration ID’s. This allows the system to track them independently.
