I have a booking for 2 people for the same event at the same price. The booking was made online and the Bank payment method was chosen. Today the client requested that one place be cancelled and immediately paid for her own place with a direct bank payment.
I have ‘cancelled’ the other Registrant (set the registration to Cancelled status) – the Receipt shown ‘cancelled’ against his name but that is the only change. The account still calculates 2 tickets @ Price (i.e. his ticket has not been removed – the client is still being charged for 2 places.)
I tried to remove the ‘unwanted attendee’ by trashing him as a contact – but there was still no monetary change to the invoice/receipt and he still shows as part of the existing registration.
– Am I missing something?
– Should there not be an automatic recalculation of the invoice when a ticket is cancelled?
– Do I need to delete the entire booking (both people) and create a new booking for only one person? (and therefore have to issue a new booking reference and invoice number etc to their company accounting department?)
Notes:
– We are not currently using the Multiple Event Reg or Wp User Integration Add-Ons.
