Hi,
I saw some previous postings on this, but I did not see a solution. I apologize if I’ve missed it.
The address block of the invoice contains some raw HTML. See Sample Invoice.
I’ve tried setting (re-saving) the address in the General Settings but that didn’t make a difference. I am using:
Event Espresso version 3.1.36.5.P
WordPress version WP 4.0
Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hi,
Are html tags for line breaks appearing in the address field for the invoice payment settings within your WordPress dashboard?

Lorenzo,
I’m not sure I know where to be looking for that. The only place my address information seems to be is in General Settings. Under Payment settings, there is only the list of gateways. In the PayPal Gateway, there are paypal settings, not an address field.
Regardless, if the place I’m to be looking is in the General Settings, there is no HTML there.

Hi Oren,
Check the invoice payment gateway. Its on the same page as the PayPal settings in the WP dashboard (Payment methods page for Event Espresso).

Boy, do I feel stupid. I didn’t even notice it there stuck in the gateway list. You all might consider moving it out from under that list.
I updated the address field and added a logo and it seems to have worked. The HTML is gone.
