Normally after the registrant pays online for an event, they can download the html invoice and confirmation receipt. I rather have the system sending this invoice to the registrant and our back office by email. How can I set this up?

I solved this problem already. The only think now is that I want to send the confirmation e-mail to our administratie email address and that is not the admin nor the author. Can I just type in the ‘To*’ field that e-mail address?
You can include the shortcode for downloading the invoice in the email messages that get sent out.
Since the Registration Pending Payment email goes out when someone selects the Invoice Payment method, that’s likely the templates you’ll edit. You add the following to the templates:
<p class="callout">[INVOICE_LINK]</p>
