Last week I ran some tests with PayPal pro and it worked successfully. This week, I’m running some more tests and I’m getting an “Internal Error” on the checkout page after clicking “Finalize registration.”

I don’t see any useful information in the admin screen or on any of the apache/nginx logs. Is there anyway I can determine if this is an issue on our end or PayPal’s?

I also tested the event that was working successfully last week and I’m also getting the error.

One place you can check is within the logs in Event Espresso > Payment Methods > Logs. Sometimes if there’s an internal server where nothing gets logged, that’s an indication that the process is running low on memory, in which case you can bump up the WP MEMORY LIMIT.

You can increase the amount of memory available for WordPress by following this guide:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
