Hi,
We are using Mijireh and Stripe to take payments with EE.
However, when the user adds an address into the EE form, and goes through to make a payment, they are not presented with a ‘different billing address’ field so if they are using a company credit card with a different address to the one they added through the EE form, their payment is rejected.
If they don’t add in an address, they are able to fill out the billing details on Mijireh’s payment form and the payment goes through.
Any suggestions on how we can get the ‘if different billing address’ tick box to appear on the Mijireh site please so they can add both?
Since these are all pre-set functions by EE it’s hard to see how we might edit them.
Thanks in advance.
Hi, I’m going to create and enhancement ticket for our development team to review. We still want to be sure that you can accept payments in the interim.
Are you offering Mijireh & a payment gateway (e.g. braintree) or are you using Mijireh to accept payments through Stripe?
Since the original release, we’ve rolled out some additional enhancements:
Validate the billing ZIP code? – Enabling this option will check that a zip (postal) code matches the bank card.
Collect the user’s billing address? – This will collect the user’s (attendee/registrant) name and billing address.
You’ll want to turn on the last option above through Event Espresso –> Payment Methods –> Stripe.
That will collect the correct billing address.
