Hello,
Our Merchant Processor is Square (fast growing company) and we’d like to find a way to integrate with EE4.
1) What type of support or plans do you have?
2) If not, I read this link below, but have some questions:

If I use the plugin provided, does it just send them off to Square for processing? What happens in EE4 – does the registration and confirmation complete?

Hello,
Square payments are usually processed manually through a mobile app (iphone, ipad) and the square card reader. They do not currently offer an API that works like PayPal for online payments.
One option is to use the check/bank draft payment gateway and specify that payments will be accepted the day of the registration. You would then manually process the payment and then mark it as paid in Event Espresso.

Is there a way to have EE4 display a link to our online Square Store where they can purchase an item and then we can manually mark as paid?
How would this be done?

Hello, I believe you are referring to the Square market (https://squareup.com/sell-online) which is a hosted online store.
You could use the bank draft or check payment gateways to provide information on how to finish the payment.
Change the name to something like Square payments (something that your attendees will understand). Then enter the payment instructions. The last step is to replace the existing cheque image with something else.

I’ve also requested a generic offline payment gateway to make this easier in a future version of EE4.

The registration would remain on pending payment until you add the payment information on the transaction page for the registration.

You can’t do that as it activates the payment gateway that is in use (i.e. check or bank draft).
You can provide information in the payment information field along with a link. See the example here:

Well, with that method, they don’t really get prompted because the payment overview is at the bottom of the page below. How could I get the payment overview at the top of this page?

Hi,
How could I get the payment overview at the top of this page?
Only by editing core files which we don’t recommend, as there are no filters or templates to make changes not be over written on update.
The template is located here /wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/shortcodes/espresso_thank_you/templates/payment_overview.template.php
Also in the PDF page here, how can I edit the payment link to square:
Same thing here, you can edit it but it will be a core file edit, so updates will over write the edits.
