Just wanted to check if this has changed since this post was done 4 years ago. If not I will follow this process.
It has changed a little since the Attendee Mover Add-on was released as now you can have users register onto a ‘deposit’ ticket and they pay the full amount fo that ticket, then you (the admin) can ‘move’ that registration onto another ticket in the same event (or a different event if needed) and trigger notifications such as the pending payment email.
